Certification & Tests
Active Blue & 3Q™ – Qualification, Validation, and Structured Testing
General Positioning
The Certification & Tests page describes the qualification, validation, and testing mechanisms offered within the Active Blue framework, in articulation with the 3Q™ reference system.
It follows a deliberately:
- non-normative,
- non-automatic,
- non-extractive,
- living-systems-respecting approach.
Active Blue does not aim at industrial standardization or mass certification, but at legibility, traceability, and responsibility for complex and evolving works.
A Multi-Level Qualification Architecture
Active Blue and the 3Q™ framework are based on a graduated architecture, allowing different levels of engagement without imposed hierarchy or mandatory progression.
1. Free, Open, and Referenced Self-Certification
Self-certification constitutes the entry level of the Active Blue framework.
It is:
- free,
- open,
- declarative,
- voluntary,
- referenced in the Active Blue registry.
It allows an author, project, or organization to:
- voluntarily position itself within the Active Blue / 3Q™ framework,
- declare its principles, intentions, and values,
- make its work visible, dated, and traceable,
- benefit from official referencing without prior validation.
Registry referencing guarantees:
- long-term traceability,
- public or controlled visibility (according to the author’s choice),
- proof of anteriority,
- documentary integrity.
Self-certification:
- is not a labeled certification,
- does not imply technical, ethical, or scientific validation,
- grants no automatic right of use,
- may not be presented as an official certification.
2. Labeled Certifications (After Validation)
Labeled certifications constitute a distinct qualification level, accessible only after explicit analysis and validation.
They are:
- framed by explicit criteria,
- issued after qualitative assessment,
- dated, traceable, and referenced.
They may apply to:
- conceptual frameworks,
- systemic architectures,
- ethical, educational, or sociotechnical dispositifs,
- sensitive technological projects.
Validation is based in particular on:
- alignment with the REED philosophy,
- 3Q™ coherence (Community / Applied / Vibes),
- clarity of uses, responsibilities, and limits,
- respect for living systems and vulnerable populations.
A labeled certification:
- is never automatic,
- may be refused, suspended, or withdrawn,
- does not constitute regulatory approval.
3. Technical Tests and Qualifications (Specific Cases)
In certain domains, targeted technical tests and qualifications may be proposed.
They notably concern:
- responsible and post-quantum cybersecurity,
- critical autonomous systems,
- distributed or sensitive architectures,
- hybrid human–machine environments.
These tests:
- rely on specific protocols,
- may be conducted in partnership,
- remain strictly distinct from conceptual frameworks.
Technical tests:
- grant no automatic right of use,
- do not constitute global project certification,
- may not be used for misleading marketing purposes.
Fundamental Distinction Between Framework and Use
A clear distinction must always be maintained between:
- Active Blue
→ conceptual and systemic reference framework, - 3Q™
→ ethical, qualitative, and symbolic coherence grid, - Certifications & Tests
→ optional, contextualized, and framed dispositifs.
Active Blue:
- does not automatically certify,
- does not validate industrial products by default,
- does not replace any regulatory authority.
Transparency, Traceability, and Responsibility
Any self-certification, certification, or test:
- is documented,
- has a clearly defined scope,
- is associated with an Active Blue identifier,
- may be public or restricted according to the author’s choice.
Results:
- may not be misrepresented or over-interpreted,
- remain subject to respect for human rights and living systems,
- are embedded in a long-term responsibility logic.
Who Is This For?
Certification & Tests are intended in particular for:
- independent authors and researchers,
- emerging or sensitive projects,
- educational and cultural organizations,
- responsible cybersecurity actors,
- ecosystems rejecting industrial standardization.
In Summary
- Self-certification: free, open, declarative, and referenced
- Labeled certifications: validated, framed, and traceable
- Technical tests: targeted, optional, non-automatic
- No obligation, no automatism, no extraction
Active Blue guarantees an open, demanding, and living-systems-respecting framework.
